Carolynn Merwin, a licensed real estate agent, and a lifelong resident of Millerton, joined Dutchess Country Realty in 2004. A real go-getter, Carolynn loves working with buyers and sellers. She enjoys talking about the vibrant history of the local communities, as well as her experience growing-up on a local dairy farm. Her family farm still operates on Route 199 in Millerton, a place where you’ll often find Carolynn still helping out in her free time.

Carolynn has a deep appreciation for the rural beauty that is eastern Dutchess County and she loves sharing it. This love led her to pursue a second career in real estate after working for the State of New York for nearly 40 years.

Residential real estate is what Carolynn loves best. She relishes talking about the fine details of so many of the older homes that are characteristic to the area. She enjoys brainstorming with customers about renovations and restorations, updates and furnishings. She has an endless rolodex of local contractors, landscapers, architects, and more — all the people you need to make your new home special.

Carolynn lives in Millerton with her husband, Larry, and son Steven.
